The Revenue Litigation Bureau is responsible for recovering debts owed to state agencies. Those cases include tort cases arising from damage to state property, collection actions to recover fines and penalties, grant recovery, and a variety of statutory actions. The Bureau also administers the Illinois Estate and Generation Skipping Transfer Tax. The Bureau reviews all Illinois estate tax returns and litigates estate tax issues in state court as needed.
Associate The candidate should have an engineering degree from highly rated university. A . degree or in third year of top law school will be considered. Law review or other writing experience preferred. Passed the Patent Bar examination; and Patent experience preferred.
