'A legal assistant is someone who works under the supervision of licensed attorneys in a law-related setting or law office. Legal assistants do not practice law, as they are not licensed attorneys, but they help in many aspects of legal transactions and court cases. A legal assistant is also sometimes called a paralegal. A legal assistant who works in a corporate law firm might prepare initial drafts of standard real estate or business contracts. A legal assistant who works in a litigation law office might prepare trial binders and exhibits in anticipation of court trials. Lawyers are typically very busy professionals and they rely on legal assistants to assist them as much as possible in helping get the work done within the bounds of legal and ethical rules.

Patent Paralegal/ Legal Assistant
The candidate will assist the attorneys in all aspects of US and Foreign prosecution (PCT) filing. Monitor daily docket (CPI). Handle routine correspondence with clients and foreign associates. File IDS docs (International Disclosure Statements). Prepare of routine patent prosecution responses with USPTO. Coordinate client deadlines with attorneys. Should preferably have Bachelor's degree. Must have 3-5 years of Patent Prosecution. US and Foreign Filing experience required.

The candidate will work in the commercial litigation practice.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the paralegal/s and/or attorney/s with a high volume caseload. Help develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; scheduling depositions; preparing and forwarding summonses and subpoenas; drafting complaints; preparing and filing discovery requests; preparing responses to opposing counsel; generating status reports. Support case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences; preparing pleadings; monitoring and obtaining discovery responses; organizing materials for team case review. Should have a four-year degree. Must have 1 year of working experience.
Legal Assistant
The candidate will be responsible for providing secretarial and clerical support to the office in areas such as preparing correspondence, transcribing dictation, editing and proofreading documents, maintaining attorneys. High school graduate is essential. Should have 1+ years of experience as a legal assistant.
Legal Assistant
The candidate will support different functions at the corporate level and work with Legal Assistant group, also manage various opened works and assignments individually. Will assist the corporation with drafting and maintaining corporate, legal and governance documents, and be comfortable interacting with senior level attorneys and executives. Conduct legal, business, and political research and data compilation. Handle expense report, coordinate calendars and conference calls, reconsider daily documentation, manage domestic and international travel, and prepare extensive PowerPoint presentation and worksheets. Should have Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.'
