'A commercial litigation paralegal is a paralegal who works in the area of commercial litigation. Commercial litigation involves lawsuits related to commercial and business matters, including complex commercial matters and breach of contract disputes. Because they are not attorneys and have not been admitted to the bars of any state, commercial litigation paralegals always work under the direction of a practicing attorney. Even though they are not attorneys themselves, commercial litigation paralegals help in many aspects of legal matters, including drafting pleadings, interfacing with clients, making court filings, and helping prepare for trial.

Experience with Employment Law, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Construction Litigation preferred. Ability to handle a wide variety of commercial litigation Management and quality control of electronic documents. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff. Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, and to work OT as necessary.

Commercial Litigation Paralegal

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in complex, commercial or business litigation. Must have excellent research and cite checking skills and experience with trial preparation from beginning to end. Must be tech savvy and possess a can-do attitude. Experience with document review software or e-Discovery is a plus. Must have knowledge of Federal and State filings.
