Brodin joined the Career and Professional Development Office at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in June of 2011. Through Kendra Brodin Companies and www.WomenLawyersOnline.com, she has spent almost six years in the areas of consulting, training, and designing products and services to encourage the advancement of female attorneys. As a legal consultant, she provides solutions to law firms and attorneys in a range of areas including leadership and career satisfaction. She additionally serves firms and others as a Continuing Legal Education presenter on topics such as bias elimination, workplace ethics, emotional health, work/life balance, conflict resolution, and stress management.
Prior to joining the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Brodin spent nearly two years as the administrative director of The Plymouth Center, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit organization. In this position, she was responsible for handling the organization's budget, managing subcontractors, and providing support to both the Board of Directors and the Executive Board. Before that, Brodin served as an associate attorney at Helgen & Helgen where she practiced civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Brodin holds a JD from the University of Minnesota School of Law and completed executive coaching training through the Institute for Life Coach Training. She earned her master's degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a BA in English and Sociology from Augustana College.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the National Association of Women Lawyers, Minnesota Women Lawyers, and the Minnesota State Bar Association, where she functions as the co-chairperson of the Life & the Law Committee and as the assistant chairperson of the Women in the Legal Profession Committee.
