The CSO is managed by Assistant Dean of Career Services Donna Davis, who boasts 15 years of legal experience, including years of prior experience in the field of law school career services. Before joining the CSO at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Davis served as the Director of Public Service Programs at the University of Texas School of Law. Her work experience also includes time spent as the Assistant Director of Career Services and Professional Development at Chapman University School of Law in California and the Assistant Dean of Career Development at the University of Houston Law Center. Before that, she was a Legal Research and Writing Instructor and also District Counsel and Immigration Liaison for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. She holds a JD from Southern University Law Center and a BA in Business Administration from Dillard University.
Career Services Counselor and Coordinator, Andreaus Boise-Fontenot, is responsible for providing career counseling services as well as handling outreach, programming, and job fair offerings. She joined Thurgood Marshall School of Law eight years ago, after working as the Assistant to the Dean & Director at the University of Nebraska School of Law. During her four years at the University of Nebraska School of Law, Boise-Fontenot handled career services strategic planning, public relations, research and statistical analysis, and student professional development. She also previously served as a certified paralegal in the estate planning and probate division of Cline Williams Johnson Wright and Oldfather. Boise- Fontenot has also served in the US Army.
The Senior Administrative Assistant, Jeanetta Taylor Washington, is responsible for assisting with daily office functions, updating the office resources, handling aspects of the On-Campus Interview and Reciprocity Programs, and contributing to the organization of other on-campus events. She additionally serves four professors in the role of administrative assistant. The Houston native has completed courses at both Massey Business College and Houston Community College.
