Ziems brings with him ample experience in the gaming industry and expertise in the areas of negotiations, international transactions, gaming law, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property transactions. Most recently, Ziems served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Aruze Gaming America, where he was responsible for overseeing efforts to create new markets and develop methods of expanding the company's involvement in existing markets.

His vast experience also includes time spent as the Vice President of New Business Development at Zazum Inc., Of Counsel at Bullivant Houser Bailey, and as the president of the business consulting/legal services firm Ziems PC. He spent more than four years as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary with the Progressive Gaming International Corporation and from 2002 to 2004 he functioned as Associate General Counsel at Aristocrat Technologies, Inc.


He has additionally served as an Associate Attorney at Jimmerson Hanson, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at M-CAM Inc., Associate General Counsel at Station Casinos, Inc., Senior Counsel for NOS Communications Inc., Associate Attorney with Dempsey Roberts and Smith, and as a Judicial Law Clerk in Clark County, Nevada.

He earned his JD at Drake University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and English from the University of South Florida.
